About
Paula Pedrosa, 1978, is an artist-biologist, based in São Paulo, Brazil, who uses photography as a creative basis.
Influenced by her educational background in natural sciences, she develops projects that investigate the concepts of contemporary nature, interweaving science and imagination, the micro and the macro, the factual and the marvelous.
Since 2015 she’s been showing her work national and internationally, participating in study groups, artistic residencies, organizing diffusion activities, and consulting for environmental visual projects.
In 2019 she published her first book, Diorama, and in 2022 she won the FCW Photography Award.
